Lindy and Charleston Workshop with Aude and Pom (All Levels)

September 9, 2017 (1pm-4:30pm)

Description: We are happy to announce that our friends, Aude and Pom, visiting from France, will be here in Chapel Hill this September.  They are experienced teachers and dancers, and have planned some excellent classes for the Triangle while they are here!

Requirements for attending: This workshop is designed for all levels of students who have the knowledge of a swing out and side-by-side partner Charleston.

About Aude and Pom:

As a dancer, Aude is known for her rhythmics, her energy, and her joy. Dance is a playground for her no matter her partner’s level. Seeking the detail to change is what she really like in teaching. She’s always available for a question and to give tips or suggest a new way to explore.

If you’re looking for Pom, watch just in front of the band, he is always there, connecting with the music and his partner. Dancefloors are for him a space to experiment new moves. The feeling is his primary link with dance. Pom’s advice: Dance a lot, dance again… with everybody.

Aude and Pom are appreciated for the pedagogy and their kindness. They like to be close to their students and to coach them in their discovery and progress.

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE

1:00 pm: Check in and Registration
1:15-2:45pm – Keep the Flow in your Lindy Hop (All Levels – if you know a swing out, please come!)
3:00-4:30pm – Partner Charleston (All Levels – come with knowledge of side-by-side partnered Charleston)
